Korean Cafes for the Dairy-Free

Korean Cafes for the Dairy-Free - The Daebak Company

Did you know that around 65% of the human population actually lose the ability to digest milk after childhood! Plus, there are those who are vegan and some people who just don’t like milk! Finding somewhere or something to eat when you’re trying to avoid milk can actually prove to be quite difficult and tedious, so whether you’re lactose intolerant, vegan, or maybe just aren’t a fan of milk, I’ve accumulated this short list of cafes in South Korea that sell dairy-free products! Let’s begin...

Petitami

This is a small bakery in Suwon that happens to sell some delicious dairy free and vegan products. They offer a variety of delicious bread, ice cream, cookies, pastries and tasty chocolates—all of which widely feature rice, such as rice ice cream, rice bread, and soya milk, giving their products a natural appetizing sweetness.

Pyeongsangshi

Pyeongsangshi offers up a variety of vegan baked goods along with a range of dairy-free lattes and coffees, such as rose lattes or lavender-infused coffees. Not to mention, the cakes look absolutely mouth-watering! My cake-loving friends, this is the cafe for you!

Plant

Located in Itaewon, not only does this place sell scrumptious cakes, muffins and other desserts for us milk-free folk, but they also have options for salads, burgers and pasta, along with some sweet-tasting and refreshing drinks! Why not just have a whole lunch there?

Cook and Book

Cook and Book sells a delicious variety of baked goods and loads of vegan foods, including a personal favourite: cheesecake! Another place perfect for lunch! They also offer a baking class so you can learn to cook some of this delicious food at home!

The Bread Blue

Here you’ll find a range of classic bakery foods, both sweet and savoury, that are all milk-free! It's said to be a nice, peaceful place for one to do some work and relax for a while as you eat some tasty pastries. Some of their drinks, however, do contain milk, but soy milk is offered as an option.

On your next trip to Korea, finding milk-free, delicious meals and desserts to eat will be no problem for you! We hope you enjoyed this list of plant-based cafes, and don’t forget to let us know in the comments what you think about them or add any that were missed. We love hearing from you!
