Stunning Places to Visit in Spring in Korea!
If you’ve ever wanted to travel to Korea, there’s no better time than the spring. Sure, summer is nice since it’s hot, and autumn is always fun if you want to see the changing colors, but spring is when the real magic happens outside. The scenery is new, the temperature is warm, but not to the extent that you’re sweating buckets the second you outside. Everywhere you look, you will be able to see the new beauty being created around you. In order to not miss out on any of the beauty Korea has to offer in the spring, here are some definite places that you need to check out during spring time.
EVERLAND
Korea’s largest theme park is highly sought after by kids, adults, and everyone in between. But people don’t only come here to see the pandas, firework displays, or even to ride the wooden roller coaster; they also come to see the parks and festivals. The Everland Tulip Festival usually runs from the middle of March to the end of April. Over one million tulips in many different varieties will be on display during the festival for guests to check out!

Cherry Blossoms & Festivals
Anywhere from late March to mid April, the cherry blossoms are in bloom. You can find different spots to check them out all around Korea! You may even be able to go and even see a cherry blossom festival if you go to the right areas. Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival, the most famous cherry blossom festival in Seoul, is a destination you have to go to if you are trying to check out the best cherry blossoms around Korea!

JEJU ISLAND
As Korea’s southern most island, Jeju Island starts to see spring before most other parts of Korea. From March to April, you will most likely be able to see the island coming to life, along with some cherry blossoms and canola flowers in full bloom! To make your sightseeing experience even better, it might be a good idea for you to enjoy a tour of the island! You can usually find a tour that will go to Jeju Islands’ must visit spots, provide lunch, and even provide pick-up and drop off services.
Where: A ferry can take you to the island off the Southern tip of South Korea.
GYEONGBOKGUNG PALACE
One of the most famous places to visit in Seoul is Gyeongbokgung Palace. During spring when everything is blooming, the cherry blossoms are out in full storm! The scenery around the palace is breathtaking, and should DEFINITELY be a place you visit if you’re in Korea in the springtime. Not only can you enjoy the scenery, but around the palace, you can rent Hanboks and go around the palace and enjoy the traditions, and seize photo opportunities. This is a great stop to see the scenery and learn about Korean culture!

Songnisan National Park
This Mountain National Park would be a great addition to your spring stops in Korea. The park lies directly in the middle of the country so no matter where you’re heading to, or coming from, it should be a stop along your journey. Not only does the bright foliage around the mountain bring people in, but also the pink azaleas are in bloom during the spring. Also, if you want to see a special sight, there is a temple that you can visit. Beopjusa Temple is at the bottom of the mountain, which you can stop by and visit on your way through the park.

Coming to Korea anytime would be an experience of a lifetime from all of the history and beauty that this country has to offer, and in spring, these places become even more vibrant and beautiful, which on one hand means more tourists... On the other hand, if you want to see Korea at the best time, spring is when you should visit!
