Chosun Ilbo reported in October 2024, citing the company, that the tea was first sold as Suloc Tea in 1980, that the brands were unified under the OSULLOC name in 2015 and the business was spun off in 2019, and that the Tea Museum, opened in 2001, draws about 1.8 million visitors a year. A new tea factory at the Hannam Tea Garden began operating in September 2023 (company-reported figures).

The same report said the company began selling at the US grocer Erewhon at the end of 2024, credited growing global demand for matcha, and described the Jeju Matcha Milk Tea as a bestseller in its milk tea lineup.
