The moment ATINYs had been waiting for finally arrived: ATEEZ's fall comeback. TREASURE EP.FIN: All to Action dropped on music platforms on October 8, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. KST, along with the music video for the much-anticipated title track "Wonderland." The album served as the conclusion of the group's TREASURE era, and ATEEZ marked the release with a comeback showcase that had ATINYs around the world counting down the hours.
A Royal Run-Up to October 8
Group and solo teaser images for the comeback began rolling out on the official ATEEZ Instagram on September 17, leading into individual video teasers for each member from KQ Entertainment's official YouTube channel. The mood was unmistakable, all dramatic lighting, regal costuming, and shadowy preview clips that signaled the same mysterious vibe ATINYs loved in "HALA HALA" and "Say My Name," just sharpened into something more polished. The eight members, Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho, each got their own video teaser, while solo concept stills landed daily from September 25 through early October.
The "Wonderland" MV: Marching Band, Fire, and a Black Flag
ATEEZ's performance preview, unveiled October 4, hinted at the razor-sharp choreography and dense soundscape to come. The full music video went further. In "Wonderland," the boys deliver powerful choreography and charisma alongside a full marching band, brass and drums hammering home the grand-finale feel of the TREASURE series. As the third installment of the trilogy, the visuals stack new clues on top of the storyline ATINYs have been decoding since debut. The first two albums tracked the group battling inner demons, masks in "HALA HALA," a mirror in "Say My Name." "Wonderland" pushes the narrative forward as the members chase the treasure they have been searching for, with Wooyoung wrapped in chains and a black flag rising through the frame. Black flags traditionally signal a last attack, suggesting ATEEZ are ready to finish the mission.
A popular ATINY theory ties the ending of "Wonderland" directly into the start of "Wave," which celebrated a victory in its upbeat lyrics and visuals. The song nearly confirms it in one of its closing lines: "Hurry up, hurry up, to the beginning where the ending is waiting." Watching the video, deciding for yourself whether ATEEZ actually reach their goal is half the fun.
The Sound of a Series Finale
"Wonderland" is a title track for a reason. The tempo refuses to sit still, the chorus glues itself to your head, and the rap and vocal lines play off each other beautifully, from Mingi's verses to the way Seonghwa and Yeosang trade off in the chorus. TREASURE EP.FIN: All to Action runs eleven tracks deep, alternating between vocal showcases, hard-hitting rap, and ballad moments that pull the listener through every emotion. "End of the Beginning" opens the album on a melancholy note before lifting into "Wonderland."
"Dazzling Light" eases in with a slow, soft melody that picks up speed, blending gentle vocals into an uplifting rap. The soulful "Mist" leans on encouragement, opening with the powerful question "Why? Why am I afraid? In this faded mist..." "Precious (Overture)" leans electronic, ending soft with Hongjoong rapping about his treasure, while "Win" rides a drum-driven groove with the relentless chant of "Hey, we are gonna win." By contrast, "If Without You" floats on calm harmonies and a softer rap, and "THANK U" (친구) doubles as a love letter to ATINYs: "Thank you for being on my side. In this hard world we can lean on each other."
"Sunrise" carries an R&B groove and the mantra "Just keep it up, so everyone can see, more and more just keep it up." "With You" opens on piano and low vocals, weaving each member through romantic lines lifted by percussion and hand claps. The album closes on "Beginning of the End," a mostly instrumental piece of violins and percussion that crescendos out of a quiet start into a final toast: "Let's toast like a Thunder. Sleep all this, meaning is overflowing."
An Era Closes, Wonderland Lives On
ATEEZ debuted in late October 2018 under KQ Entertainment as an eight-member group, releasing three mini albums in their first year, TREASURE EP.1: All to Zero, TREASURE EP.2: Zero to One, and TREASURE EP.3: One to All. The group also celebrated a one-year anniversary event called MOON RIVER at The River Grand Hall in Seocho-gu, Seoul on October 24, 2019.
"Wonderland" wasn't just a finale; it became a milestone. The MV blew past 10 million views in just five days, and by January 2022 it became ATEEZ's first music video to surpass 100 million views on YouTube. For a group that debuted only a year before, it was a definitive proof point that the TREASURE series had landed exactly where it was aiming.
