The Daebak Company is a Seoul-based commerce and marketing startup that connects global fans with the best of Korean culture through subscription boxes, creator collaborations, and data-driven brand consulting.

Through our platforms and programs, we aim to unite the global Hallyu community, creating a space where users can engage, inspire one another, and feel empowered through shared cultural experiences.

Responsibilities

1. Graphic Design & Content Creation

  • Design engaging, culturally inspired visual content, including Reels, social media posts, stories, digital banners, and campaign assets.
  • Create content for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other digital platforms.
  • Research current visual, cultural, and social media trends to develop creative concepts that increase engagement and audience reach.
  • Support the Marketing and Social Media teams with ongoing layout, branding, and design needs.

2. Product & Print Design

  • Design Daebak Box packaging, magazine layouts, promotional materials, and digital inserts that reflect modern Korean aesthetics.
  • Develop visual assets for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand collaborations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive visual storytelling across products, platforms, and campaigns.
  • Prepare design files for both digital publication and print production.

Ideal Candidate

  • Passionate about Korean culture, graphic design, branding, and visual storytelling.
  • Fluent or highly proficient in English or Korean.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Strong sense of aesthetics, composition, typography, and cultural awareness.
  • Able to manage time efficiently and remain focused during working hours.
  • Comfortable receiving feedback and revising designs based on team or business needs.
