A Guide to Le Sserafim Members

안녕하세요, 르새라핀입니다! Hello, we are LE SSERAFIM! Introducing the members of the global rookie K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM. With members from all over the globe and various backgrounds, this group continues to dominate the charts and help fans everywhere feel FEARLESS. LE SSERAFIM is a K-pop girl group under Source Music, a subsidiary of HYBE Labels, and label mates with BTS, SEVENTEEN, ENHYPEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, NewJeans, fromis_9, and more.

Their unique name is an anagram of "I'm Fearless," a message they bring to their fans, FEARNOT. Strength, fearlessness, and the ability to overcome challenges are themes throughout LE SSERAFIM's discography.

Kim Chaewon (Leader)

Kim Chaewon originally debuted in the girl group IZ*ONE. After the group disbanded in 2021, she debuted again as the leader of LE SSERAFIM. She is also a strong vocalist, the daughter of actress Lee Ran Hee, and attended the renowned Hanlim Multi Art School. She previously competed on the survival show Produce 48.

Sakura (Oldest)

Born March 19, 1998 in Kagoshima, Japan, Sakura is the oldest member. She originally debuted in HKT48 when she was just 13, bringing years of experience to the group, and the members look up to her as a big sister. She previously competed on Produce 48 and debuted with IZ*ONE alongside Kim Chaewon.

Huh Yunjin (Songwriter)

Born October 8, 2001, Huh Yunjin is the group's singer-songwriter, helping write and produce songs on their second EP. Though born in Seoul, she grew up in New York as Jennifer Huh, is Korean American, and grew up speaking English. She is also trained in opera and attended Hanlim Multi Art School. She knew Kim Chaewon before joining, as they performed together on Produce 48.

Kazuha (Ballerina)

Born August 9, 2003 in Osaka, Japan, Kazuha is the dancer, rapper, and sub-vocalist. A professionally trained ballerina since age 3, she lived in the Netherlands studying with the Dutch National Ballet and is fluent in English. She had the shortest trainee time of all the members, training only three months before debut.

Hong Eunchae (Maknae)

Hong Eunchae is the youngest member. After attending Def Music Academy and training under Source Music for over a year, she became the group's lead dancer and a talented vocalist. Like Chaewon, she was born in South Korea.

First EP: FEARLESS

LE SSERAFIM's debut EP, FEARLESS, was released on May 2, 2022, with five tracks: The World Is My Oyster, Fearless, Blue Flame, The Great Mermaid, and Sour Grapes.

Second EP: ANTIFRAGILE

Their second EP, ANTIFRAGILE, was released on October 17, 2022, with the title track ANTIFRAGILE. Huh Yunjin helped write three of the five songs, and Sakura helped write and compose one of the tracks.

Beyond the Music

The group also has the Crimson Heart webcomic, where five characters representing each member break a curse by gaining the power of the Crimson Heart (following HYBE's webcomic theme with BTS, TXT, and ENHYPEN). FIM-LOG is a vlog series on their YouTube channel offering a personal look into the members' lives, and The World Is My Oyster is a HYBE documentary following their journey from training to debut.
