What Is HYBE Corporations?

Before diving into HYBE Labels, we need to start at the top with HYBE Corporation. Formerly known as Big Hit Entertainment, the name was changed in 2021 to reflect the new labels and divisions within the entire HYBE Corporation. HYBE Corporation includes HYBE HQ, HYBE America, and HYBE Japan for their Korean, US, and Japan activities, respectively.

The corporation is divided into 3 divisions: HYBE Labels, HYBE Solutions, and HYBE Platforms. HYBE labels (which we will do a deeper dive into in the next section) consist of all of the kpop artists and kpop labels within HYBE. HYBE Solutions mainly focuses on the business content within the company, including online games and educational content involving HYBE artists. HYBE Platforms manages the technical aspects of the company, such as Weverse and, most recently, Vlive.
