Where Mediheal comes from
Cosmetics Design Asia reported in 2019 that Mediheal launched in 2009 and that its parent company is L&P Cosmetics, led by founder and CEO Kwon Oh-sub. The company told the publication it had sold more than 1.6 billion sheet masks since launch and described itself as the first brand in Korea to use 100 percent automated manufacturing; both are company claims. By March 2025, the Korean business daily Edaily reported that cumulative Mediheal mask sales had passed 3 billion packs, which it described as roughly one pack every 0.1 seconds.
Mediheal's own site describes the brand as making dermatology simpler and easier to understand, and lists its main ingredients as madecassoside, collagen, PDRN, tea tree, vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. Its range also includes toner pads, eye patches, ampoules, sunscreen, cleansers and lip care.

The mask types
Ampoule and essence masks
The standard Mediheal format is a thin sheet soaked in essence. The brand's directions for the N.M.F Ampoule Mask are to apply after cleansing and toner, leave on for 10 to 20 minutes, then pat in what remains on the skin; use it immediately after opening and only once. Wrapping masks
Wrapping masks are cut to fit the face closely. The Derma Synergy Wrapping Mask is made with a vegan-certified fabric, according to the brand, and comes in a box of 14. The same series has other versions, such as Hyaluron x Panthenol.
Two-step Bio Seconderm masks
These pair a mask with a small ampoule. For the Hyaluronate version, the brand's directions are to leave the mask on for about 20 to 30 minutes, remove it, pat in the remaining essence, then smooth on the ampoule. The Madecassoside version is described as a cooling mask; the brand says it earned an Excellent grade in a German Derma Test and passed sensitive-skin irritation tests, which are the brand's own statements.
