Now the same name is on a shelf of toners, ampoules and masks, and the natural question is whether the cream has anything to do with the clinic. This guide explains the connection, what the brand's lines are, and which product to start with.

Clinic first, cosmetics second
Rejuran began as medicine. The Asia Business Daily reports that PharmaResearch launched Rejuran in Korea in 2014 as a skin booster based on polynucleotide (PN) and PDRN, "DNA fragments isolated from salmon germ cells," and that its reputation took off from 2019 under the nicknames "Water Glow Injection" and "Salmon Injection." The Korea Times notes that Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety approved PDRN and PN for medicinal use in 2008, and that they were used mainly in medical treatment before moving into beauty. A 2017 review in Frontiers in Pharmacology describes PDRN as DNA obtained from salmon trout or chum salmon sperm through a controlled purification process, and summarizes its medical use in tissue repair. Marie Claire Korea credits Rejuran with the first commercialized PDRN skin booster in Korea, after which the ingredient spread into serums, creams and masks across the industry.
REJURAN the skincare brand is the company's own move into that market. The Asia Business Daily describes it as cosmetics launched under the Rejuran name to build on the brand's recognition, with exports of the injectable beginning in 2023 and cosmetics sales expected to grow around 30 percent in 2024. Which product first
- Healer Turnover Ampoule. The brand's signature cosmetic: a concentrated ampoule with c-PDRN and hyaluronic acid, used after toner, three to five drops massaged over face and neck. - Healer Turnover Cream Enhanced. The matching cream, with c-PDRN, niacinamide, panthenol, squalane and hyaluronic acid; lightweight for a cream. For dry skin, the richer Healer Nutritive Cream with shea butter and botanical oils is the alternative.
- c-PDRN Booster Shot Gel Mask. A dense gel sheet in two pieces that you leave on until it turns transparent, the same format as the overnight collagen masks in Korean Collagen Masks. One or two a week.

A simple REJURAN routine
- Cleanse. The brand's Refining Foam Cleanser or your own; the two-step method is in What Is Double Cleansing?.
- Toner: Healer Rebalancing Toner (tea tree, gluconolactone, centella; shake before use) or the Derma Healer pad for oily skin.
- Ampoule: Healer Turnover Ampoule, three to five drops.
- Cream: Turnover Cream Enhanced, or Nutritive Cream at night if your skin is dry.

The brand's pages advise against using the Turnover Cream on damaged or sensitive skin and say to stop if irritation occurs; patch test, and introduce one product at a time. If you have had the Rejuran injection or are considering it, your clinic is the right place to ask about combining the two.
