About the Role
As a Business Development Intern, you will play a key role in building and executing strategic partnerships across brands, public institutions, and global organizations.
This role goes beyond traditional PR or outreach. You will focus on identifying business opportunities, developing partnership ideas, and driving deals from initial contact to execution - working closely with Korean brands, government organizations, and international partners to expand Daebak’s global presence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Brand Partnerships & Deal Securing
- Develop business opportunities with brands across K-pop, K-drama, K-beauty, K-fashion, K-character, and lifestyle categories
- Research and reach out to potential brand partners aligned with Daebak’s projects
- Manage communication from initial contact through deal completion
- Support deal negotiation and execution
2. Global Outreach & Partnership Development
- Propose Daebak Box collaborations to organizations and institutions in Korea that engage with foreign communities (e.g., international organizations, schools, and programs)
- Reach out to Korea-related institutions overseas (e.g., consulates, cultural centers, King Sejong Institutes) and schools to introduce and propose Daebak Box partnerships
- Develop business opportunities with small & large retail shops and distributors overseas by introducing Daebak Box
3. Presentation & Proposal Development
- Create and customize business proposals and partnership decks (PPT)
- Adapt materials for different partner types and markets
- Collaborate with internal team members and designers on presentations and reports
What we're looking for
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Korean is plus)
- A proactive business development mindset with confidence in conversations
- Ability to understand partner needs and translate them into clear proposals
- Professional and mature communication style
- Strong interest in Korean culture, global business, and international expansion
