Updated September 2026.

Hello, we are LE SSERAFIM. This is a guide to the members of the HYBE girl group that went from rookie act to Coachella and the Billboard 200 in under four years. LE SSERAFIM is under Source Music, a subsidiary of HYBE Labels, making them label mates with BTS, SEVENTEEN, ENHYPEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and more.

Their name is an anagram of "I'm Fearless," a message they carry to their fandom, FEARNOT. Strength, fearlessness, and the ability to overcome challenges run through the group's entire discography.

The LE SSERAFIM Members

LE SSERAFIM is a five-member group: Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae.

Kim Chaewon, the leader

Kim Chaewon originally debuted in the girl group IZ*ONE. After the group disbanded in 2021, she debuted again as the leader of LE SSERAFIM. She is a strong vocalist, the daughter of actress Lee Ran Hee, and a graduate of the renowned Hanlim Multi Art School. She previously competed on the survival show Produce 48.

Sakura, the oldest member

Born March 19, 1998 in Kagoshima, Japan, Sakura is the oldest member. She originally debuted in HKT48 at just 13, bringing years of stage experience to the group, and the other members treat her as a big sister. She competed on Produce 48 and debuted with IZ*ONE alongside Kim Chaewon.

Huh Yunjin, the songwriter

Born October 8, 2001, Huh Yunjin is the group's singer-songwriter and has writing and production credits across their releases. Though born in Seoul, she grew up in New York as Jennifer Huh, is Korean American, and grew up speaking English. She is also trained in opera and attended Hanlim Multi Art School. She knew Kim Chaewon before joining, as they performed together on Produce 48.

Kazuha, the ballerina

Born August 9, 2003 in Osaka, Japan, Kazuha is a dancer, rapper, and sub-vocalist. A professionally trained ballerina since age three, she lived in the Netherlands studying with the Dutch National Ballet and is fluent in English. She had the shortest trainee period of all the members, training only three months before debut.

Hong Eunchae, the maknae

Hong Eunchae is the youngest member. After attending Def Music Academy and training under Source Music for over a year, she became the group's lead dancer and a talented vocalist. Like Chaewon, she was born in South Korea.

Beyond the Music

The group also has the Crimson Heart webcomic, where five characters representing each member break a curse by gaining the power of the Crimson Heart, following HYBE's webcomic tradition with BTS, TXT, and ENHYPEN. FIM-LOG is a vlog series on their YouTube channel, and The World Is My Oyster is a HYBE documentary following their journey from training to debut.

Collecting K-Pop Albums as a FEARNOT

If you want to collect LE SSERAFIM physically, it helps to understand how Korean albums work. A K-pop album is a package, not just a disc: a photobook, poster, lyric book, and randomly inserted photocards. Each version of the same album carries a different concept and a different photocard pool, which is why collectors buy more than one.

There is also POB, or pre-order benefit: an exclusive photocard or poster that a specific Korean store adds to pre-orders. POBs are not inside the sealed album, only available during the pre-order window, and most never leave Korea. Our full explainer is here: How to Buy a K-Pop Album.

Daebak is based in Seoul and buys from the same shelves Korean fans do. Browse our K-pop albums, official lightsticks, and the wider K-Pop collection to see what is in stock right now.
