Abib is a Korean skincare brand launched in 2016 and known for heartleaf (houttuynia cordata) calming products, mask packs and Jericho rose lines. Its range covers toners and pads, serums, creams, sheet masks, collagen gel masks and wrapping masks. Start with the Heartleaf Spot Pad Calming Touch or the Heartleaf Calming Toner.
Abib grew up around masks and heartleaf, the herb Koreans call eoseongcho, and has since widened into full skincare lines. Our shop carries more than seventy Abib products, so this guide groups them by line, says which suits which skin, and names the product to start with. For the herb itself, read Heartleaf in Korean Skincare.
At Daebak, a Seoul-based Korean culture and product company, product descriptions come from Abib's product pages and the company facts from the sources listed at the end. We describe what products are marketed for, not what they will do for you. Abib products in our shop are shipped by the brand.
The brand in brief
In a 2018 interview with Skinsider, Abib's CEO Sanghyun Kim said the brand launched in January 2016 and was founded to push back against exaggerated before-and-after marketing, aiming for products that work well for the skin; he added that Abib's slogan is "in its integrity."
The Asia Business Daily reported in 2021 that Abib's sales had grown from about 3 billion won in 2017 to over 43 billion won the following year, that Olive Young had found its sheet-mask pack online in 2017 and brought it to stores, and that the Eoseongcho Spot Pad Calming Touch, launched in July of the previous year, had sold about 700,000 units; at that point masks made up 56 percent of sales in the first half of the year, down from 94 percent in 2019, as skincare grew to 35 percent. Those are company-reported figures from the time, not current ones, but they show the arc from a mask brand to a skincare one.
More recently, Chain Drug Review reported in April 2025 that Abib launched its Collagen Eye Patches Rose Jelly at 255 Costco locations in the US; Abib's global marketing lead Harry Kim said the brand was pleased to introduce Abib at Costco, according to the report.

The lines, by ingredient
Which product first
- Heartleaf Spot Pad Calming Touch. The product the Asia Business Daily singled out in 2021 as a hit. A toner pad with heartleaf extract, in a jar of 80 double-sided cotton pads (a soft side and an embossed side), used after cleansing to wipe over the face, avoiding the eye and lip areas, or placed on a spot for targeted care. The brand markets it for sensitive, redness-prone skin. For how pads work, see Korean Toner Pads.
- Heartleaf Calming Toner. A lightweight, water-based toner with heartleaf extract from Jiri Mountain, panthenol, centella and hyaluronic acid. Choose it over the pad if you prefer a liquid you pat in.
- One serum. Blemish-prone or irritated-looking: Heartleaf TECA Capsule Serum. Firmer, smoother feel: Jericho Rose Bifida Serum, which lists bakuchiol among its ingredients (see Retinol vs Bakuchiol). Glow: PDRN Glow Serum 4.0 (see What Is PDRN?).
- A mask for the weekend. The Mild Acidic pH Sheet Mask Heartleaf Fit is meant for sensitive and blemish-prone skin and worn 10 to 20 minutes; the Collagen Gel Mask Heartleaf Jelly is a vegan hydrogel with collagen extract, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. How often to use masks: How to Use a Korean Sheet Mask.
