Daebak boxes are packed and shipped from our warehouse in Seoul, South Korea. We deliver to 60 countries worldwide.

Individual brand products bought from our Shop work differently. See Brand products from the Shop below.

Processing time

Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. If you subscribe, your first box ships within 10 days of subscribing.

Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for tracking information to appear in the carrier's system.

Carriers

Most international boxes travel with YunExpress. Some destinations ship via Korea Post. Boxes delivered inside Korea go out with CJ, Lotte, or Hanjin.

Customs, VAT and duties

VAT and customs duties are already included in the shipping fee you pay at checkout on every Daebak box, on every route, to all 60 countries. The price you see at checkout is the final amount. No customs invoice, and no additional charges on delivery.

The one exception is individual brand products from our Shop, which ship directly from the brand on their own shipping service. Customs and duties for those are set by each brand and vary from brand to brand. The shipping rate shown at checkout reflects that brand's terms. If you'd like to know how a specific brand handles duties for your country, email us at hello@daebak.co before ordering and we'll find out for you.

Shipping is charged by destination and by box, since the Deluxe Box is larger and heavier than the Original. The rates below apply to Daebak boxes only, and all of them include VAT and customs duties.

Delivery times are estimates. They begin once the order has been dispatched, not when it is placed, and may vary due to customs processing, carrier delays, or circumstances outside our control.

Brand products from the Shop

Our Shop carries individual products from Korean brands and retailers we partner with. These orders are shipped directly by the brand, using their own shipping service, rather than dispatched from our warehouse.

As a result:

  • Shipping cost and delivery time are set by that brand and shown at checkout. The box rates above do not apply.
  • Customs and duties follow that brand's shipping terms, and vary from brand to brand.
  • Returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled by that brand. Contact us and we'll connect you.
  • If you order a box and a brand product together, they are dispatched separately and will arrive as separate parcels, usually on different days.

Changing your shipping address

Address changes are possible only before your order has been dispatched. Email hello@daebak.co as soon as possible with your order number and the new address. Once an order has shipped, we're unable to reroute it.

Incorrect addresses

Please make sure your shipping address is complete and accurate at checkout. We aren't able to take responsibility for parcels that are delayed, returned, or lost because of an incomplete or incorrect address given at the time of order.

Lost, delayed or damaged shipments

Please inspect your order on arrival. If your box arrives damaged, or hasn't arrived by the end of the estimated delivery window, contact us at hello@daebak.co within 30 days of the expected delivery date and we'll work with the carrier to resolve it. Photos of the damaged parcel and its contents help us sort it out faster.

European Union: 14-day cancellation right

If your order is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without justification. The item must be in the same condition you received it: unused, with tags, in its original packaging, with the receipt or proof of purchase.

The Boxes

What is Daebak?

Daebak is a Korea-based subscription box company. We're actually in Seoul, not a reseller, so we work directly with Korean brands and send you products straight from the source, often before they reach international shelves. We ship to 60 countries.

Which boxes do you offer?
  • Daebak Box: Today's Korea, in a box. A mix of K-beauty, snacks, and lifestyle goods.
  • Daebak Beauty Box: The beauty Koreans actually use.
  • SnackFever: Korea's convenience store, delivered.
  • Collab Box: Limited-edition boxes made with Korean brands and characters.
What's the difference between a Daebak Box and the Shop?

Two different things, and it's worth knowing which one you're buying.

If you order a box and a brand product together, they travel separately and will arrive as separate parcels, usually on different days.

What's the difference between the Original Box and the Deluxe Box?

Same curation, more of it. The Deluxe is the premium tier: it comes with 4 to 5 more products than the Original, and the items skew fuller-size and more premium.

What's inside a box, and what does it cost?

Every box is curated in Korea around a seasonal theme, and the contents stay a surprise until you open it. That's half the fun. Depending on the box, you'll find K-beauty and skincare, Korean snacks, and lifestyle or character goods from Korean brands.

Going Annual is the cheapest way to get all four seasons: you pay once and save $19.96 over the year.

Can I choose what goes in my box?

No. Each box is curated by our team in Korea, and the contents stay a surprise until it arrives. Curation is the point: we pick what Koreans are actually using right now, so you discover products you wouldn't have found on your own.

Can I buy a box without subscribing?

Yes. You can subscribe seasonally or buy a single box as a one-time purchase.

Subscription & Billing

How does the subscription work?

Korea has four distinct seasons, and so do we. You get four boxes a year, one for each season, each curated around what Korea is actually doing at that moment: spring, summer, fall, and winter.

There are two ways to subscribe:

Your first box ships within 10 days of subscribing, so you won't be waiting for the next season to start before anything arrives.

Can I pause or cancel? What happens to my remaining boxes?

You can pause or cancel at any time. No minimum commitment, no lock-in, no cancellation fee.

The one thing to know: cancel before your next renewal date. Once a renewal has already been charged, that box is on its way and the charge stands.

  • Pause: put your subscription on hold whenever you like, and pick it back up when you're ready.
  • Cancel (Seasonal): cancel any time before your next season is charged, and you won't be billed again.
  • Cancel (Annual): your year is pre-paid, so you still receive all four boxes you paid for. Cancelling stops the renewal at the end of that year rather than refunding the boxes still to come.

Can I change my shipping address?

Yes, but only before your box ships. Email hello@daebak.co as soon as possible with your order number and the new address. Once a box is dispatched, we can't reroute it.

Where do you ship from, and where do you ship to?

Daebak boxes ship from our warehouse in Seoul, and we deliver to 60 countries worldwide.

Products bought individually from our Shop are different: those are sent directly by the Korean brand or retailer that makes them, from their own warehouse. See the next question.

I ordered a brand product from the Shop, not a box. How does shipping work?

Our Shop carries individual products from Korean brands and retailers we partner with. Those orders ship directly from the brand, on their own shipping service, rather than going out from our warehouse with our boxes.

What that means for you:

  • Shipping cost and delivery time are set by that brand, and you'll see them at checkout. Our box rates below don't apply.
  • Customs and duties follow the brand's own shipping terms, and they vary from brand to brand. The rate shown at checkout reflects that brand's terms.
  • Returns are handled by the brand. Contact us and we'll connect you.
  • Order a box and a brand product together and they'll arrive separately, in different parcels, usually on different days. Nothing is missing, it's just two shipments.

When does my first box arrive?

Your first box ships within 10 days of subscribing. After that, add your region's delivery time below to know when it lands.

How much is box shipping, and how long does it take?

Boxes are processed within 1-3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). Shipping is then charged by destination and by box, since the Deluxe is larger and heavier than the Original.

Every box rate below includes VAT and customs duties. Whatever you pay at checkout is the final amount. Nothing extra is ever charged on delivery.

These rates cover Daebak boxes only. Individual brand products from the Shop ship on the brand's own terms, shown at checkout.

Who delivers my box?

Brand products from the Shop are delivered by whichever carrier that brand uses.

My tracking number isn't working.

Give it 24-48 hours. Tracking information takes a little time to appear in the carrier's system after a parcel is dispatched. If it still hasn't updated after that, email hello@daebak.co with your order number.

My box arrived damaged, or never arrived.

Contact us at hello@daebak.co within 30 days of the expected delivery date and we'll work with the carrier to sort it out. Photos of the damaged box and its contents help us resolve it faster.

Customs, VAT & Duties

Will I be charged customs fees when my box arrives?

On a Daebak box, no. Never. VAT and customs duties are already included in the shipping fee you pay at checkout, on every route we ship, to all 60 countries.

The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. No customs invoice, no courier asking for money at the door, no nasty surprise two weeks after you ordered. We handle it from Korea so you don't have to think about it.

One exception worth knowing: individual brand products from our Shop ship directly from the brand on their own shipping service, so customs and duties for those are set by each brand and vary from one to another. The shipping rate shown at checkout reflects that brand's terms, so check it before you order. If you'd like to know how a specific brand handles duties for your country, email us at hello@daebak.co before buying and we'll find out for you.

Returns & Refunds

What's your return policy?

You have 30 days from receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition you received it: unused, with tags, in its original packaging. You'll also need your receipt or proof of purchase.

Always contact us first at hello@daebak.co. Items sent back without requesting a return first can't be accepted.

Can I return a box?

Only if it's completely unopened. Because our boxes are curated surprises, a box can be returned only when the entire box is unopened and every item inside is unused, sealed, and in its original packaging.

What can't be returned?
  • Beauty, skincare, and personal care products once opened or used (hygiene and safety)
  • Opened curated or mystery boxes
  • Perishable goods, including food and snacks
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

I bought a brand product from the Shop, not a box. How do I return it?

Since brand products ship directly from the Korean brand that makes them, returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled by that brand too. Each one runs its own return and shipping process.

Contact us at hello@daebak.co and we'll connect you with the brand and pass along their instructions. You don't have to hunt them down yourself.

Who pays for return shipping?

Return shipping is the customer's responsibility, unless the item arrived defective, damaged, or incorrect. In those cases we cover it.

How do exchanges work?

The fastest way is to return the item you have, then place a separate order for the one you want once the return is accepted.

When will I get my refund?

We'll let you know once we've received and inspected your return. If it's approved, we refund your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take a few extra days to post it.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you still don't see it, email hello@daebak.co.

I'm in the EU. Do I have extra rights?

Yes. If your order ships into the European Union, you can cancel or return it within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without giving one. The item still needs to be unused, with tags, in its original packaging, with proof of purchase.

Returns & Refunds

Short version: you have 30 days to request a return, subscriptions can be cancelled any time before the next renewal, and if something arrives broken we'll make it right. The details are below.

Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition you received it: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Always contact us first at hello@daebak.co. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return can't be accepted.

If your return is accepted, we'll send you return shipping instructions, including where to send your package.

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, unless the item arrived defective, damaged, or incorrect. In those cases we cover it.

Returning a box

Our boxes are curated surprises, so a box can only be returned if the entire box is unopened and every item inside remains unused, sealed, and in its original packaging.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If an item is defective or damaged, or you received the wrong item, contact us straight away so we can evaluate the issue and put it right. Photos help us resolve it faster.

What can't be returned

Brand products from the Shop

Individual brand products, meaning anything from our Shop that isn't one of our boxes (Daebak Box, Daebak Beauty Box, SnackFever, Collab Box), ship directly from the Korean brand that makes them, on their own shipping service.

Because of that, returns, exchanges, and refunds for those products are handled directly by that brand, and each one runs its own return and shipping process.

You don't have to hunt them down yourself. Contact us at hello@daebak.co and we'll connect you with the brand and pass along their instructions.

Refunds

We'll let you know once we've received and inspected your return, and whether the refund was approved.

If approved, you'll be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Bear in mind your bank or credit card company may need a few extra days to process and post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you still haven't seen it, contact us at hello@daebak.co.

European Union: 14-day cooling-off period

Notwithstanding the above, if your merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.
