Table of Contents

SnackFever is Daebak's Korean snack box: a surprise assortment of the trending snacks you would find in a Seoul convenience store, such as Honey Butter Chips, Pepero, Choco Pie, Banana Milk and Buldak noodles. Every box is randomly curated so the mix changes, it comes in Original and Deluxe sizes, and you can buy it once or subscribe.

SnackFever is the Daebak box people ask the most practical questions about: what is in it, whether two boxes repeat, how spicy it gets. This page answers them from the SnackFever product page and from how the box works. For a general introduction to snack boxes, read Korean Snack Box: What's Inside, How to Choose and Who It's For.

What is inside

What is SnackFever?

A curated Korean snack box from Daebak, a Seoul-based Korean culture and product company. It is built around the snacks that are trending in Korean convenience stores and delivered as a surprise assortment.

What kinds of snacks come in the box?

The product page names the kind of snacks to expect: Haitai Honey Butter Chips, Lotte Pepero, Orion Choco Pie, Binggrae Banana Milk, Samyang Buldak fire noodles, Nongshim shrimp crackers, chewy Korean jellies and other bold Korean flavors. Boxes mix sweet, savory and spicy, and may include a drink. The exact items are not announced in advance.

Is every SnackFever box the same?

No. Each box is randomly curated, so two boxes ordered at different times will usually contain a different mix. That is the point of the box: a fresh assortment each time rather than a fixed set.

Are the snacks spicy?

Some are. Korea is known for spicy snacks and the Buldak line is the usual example, but most of a box is sweet or savory. If spice is your thing, Buldak Flavors Ranked by Spice Level tells you what you are in for.

Are the snacks authentic Korean products?

Yes. They are the same packaged snacks sold in Korean convenience stores and supermarkets, from brands such as Haitai, Lotte, Orion, Binggrae, Samyang and Nongshim.

I have allergies or dietary restrictions. Can I still order?

Contents vary and are not customized, so we cannot promise a box free of any ingredient. Ingredient information is printed on each snack's own packaging. If you have a serious allergy, contact us through the help pages before ordering.

Sizes and ways to buy

Option What it is
Original The standard assortment
Deluxe A larger assortment
One-time purchase One box, no renewal
Seasonal subscription A new box every three months
Annual subscription Four boxes over a year

What is the difference between Original and Deluxe?

Deluxe is the bigger box with more snacks. The style of assortment is the same.

Is SnackFever a subscription?

It can be. You can buy a single box, subscribe seasonally so a new box arrives every three months, or take an annual subscription that covers four boxes. See the product page for the current options.

Who it is for

Is SnackFever good for someone new to Korean snacks?

Yes. Because it is a mixed assortment, it is an easy way to try the famous names without choosing each one. If you prefer to read first, Best Korean Snacks: A Seoul Snack Aisle Tour and Korean Convenience Store Snacks Worth Trying cover the classics.

Is it a good gift?

It is the most shareable of our boxes, which makes it a common choice for birthdays, movie nights and office gifts. More ideas are in Korean Gifts: What to Give a Friend Who Loves Korea.

What do people do with the snacks?

Mostly eat them as they are, but they also work in desserts and party snacks; see All These SnackFever Boxes, Now What? and How to Upgrade Your K-Snacks.

Can I see what past boxes looked like?

Yes: 5 SnackFever Unboxings collects unboxing videos of earlier boxes.

Compared with other Daebak boxes

How is SnackFever different from the Daebak Box?

SnackFever is snacks only. The Daebak Box is a mixed seasonal box with K-beauty, snacks, fan goods and lifestyle items, and the Daebak K-Beauty Box is beauty only. The side-by-side is in Daebak Box vs K-Beauty Box vs SnackFever, and the Daebak Box has its own FAQ page.

Does the Daebak Box also include snacks?

Yes, a few, as part of a wider mix. If snacks are the main thing you want, SnackFever gives you far more of them.
