Through our platform and programs, we aim to unite the global Hallyu community - a space where users can engage, inspire one another, and feel empowered through shared cultural experiences.

Responsibilities

1. Blog Content Writing with SEO/GEO focus 

(all content must be written by the intern. Use of AI-generated content will result in immediate termination of the internship.)

  • Write engaging, original blog posts about The Daebak Company and Korean culture, including:

- Behind-the-scenes stories (e.g., interviewing interns or team members),

- Company projects and collaborations

- K-pop, K-dramas, beauty, fashion, and lifestyle

  • Adapt blog content for social media sharing (Instagram Stories, LinkedIn)
  • Apply basic SEO / GEO best practices
  • AI tools may be used for research and support, but fully AI-written articles are not allowed

2. Magazine Production (writing, editing, interviewing)

  • Contribute to seasonal digital and print magazines, including:

- Local area spotlights

- Interviews with Korean startup CEOs

- K-pop group features

- Daebak Box product features (with cultural context)

- Brand Box editions (brand introductions, artist interviews, etc.)

  • Tasks include:

- Article writing and editing

- Conducting interviews with brands, creators, or industry figures

3. Blogger & Media Outreach (Guest Blogging / PR)

  • Reach out to international media (e.g., BuzzFeed) to secure features and backlinks
  • Contact well-known bloggers for:

- Guest posting opportunities

- Backlink exchanges

- Collaborative content

  • Build relationships in the global K-culture content space and support mutual promotion

Ideal Candidate

  • Professional mindset (especially important since much of the work is remote)

→ Your writing quality is the primary way we evaluate your work

  • Passionate about Korean culture, storytelling, and brand communication
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written); Korean is a plus but not required
  • Comfortable reaching out to new people via email or DMs
  • Organized, proactive, and confident in following through on ideas and leads
