Table of Contents

DPR, short for Dream Perfect Regime, is a Korean creative collective that built a global fan base by treating music, film, and design as one canvas. Rather than running like a typical label, DPR functions as a tight crew of artists who shoot, edit, produce, and write together. The four core members each anchor a different lane.

DPR Live, the front facing voice

DPR Live, born Hong Da-Bin, is the front facing rapper and singer. After C-Clown disbanded in 2015, he linked up with old friends and turned a side project into a career. His debut EP Coming To You Live arrived in 2017, blending melodic rap with retro funk and dance pop. By the time he released his first full album Is Anybody Out There in 2021, he had headlined his own world tour and built a reputation for charismatic, choreography heavy live shows.

DPR Ian, the visual mastermind

DPR Ian, born Christian Yu, is the creative director and visual mastermind. Originally from Sydney, Australia, he debuted as a member of C-Clown alongside DPR Live before stepping behind the camera. He directs nearly every DPR music video, and his style, all baroque framing and dreamlike color grading, became a signature. In 2021 he launched his own artist project with the EP MITO, exploring his bipolar diagnosis through a narrative about alter egos. His directorial credits also include music videos for IU, Taeyang, Bobby, and Mino.

DPR Cream and DPR Rem

DPR Cream, born Kim Kyung-Mo, is the producer who shapes the sound of the collective. He builds the beats, textures, and genre crossing arrangements that let DPR Live and DPR Ian operate so far from a single category. He also drops solo work that leans more into instrumental hip hop and ambient R&B.

DPR Rem, born Scott Kim, runs the business and creative strategy from New York. He is the founder of the crew and the producer who keeps the operation rolling, from contracts to merch drops to tour planning. His behind the scenes presence is what allows the other members to chase ideas a major label would water down.

Where to start listening

What sets DPR apart is the in house model. Every video, every album cover, every concert visual gets handled by people inside the crew. That control lets them release at their own pace and chase ideas that a major label would water down. If you want a starting point, queue up DPR Live's Right Here Right Now, DPR Ian's No Blueberries, DPR Cream's Color Drive, and the group cypher Mood. From there the rest of the world they have built unfolds quickly.
