In recent years, especially since COVID-19, we’ve faced numerous challenges, including an unprecedented rise in global shipping costs. We used a significant portion of our savings to shield our community from price hikes, hoping this crisis would be temporary. Regrettably, these issues persisted, forcing me to make difficult financial decisions to keep Daebak afloat. Please know that my top priority has always been to serve you, and that commitment remains unwavering.
Update 1: Current Orders & Compensation
I deeply apologize for any inconvenience or frustration caused by our shipping issues and the unexpected global price surges. This has led to a considerable backlog of orders. We are fully committed to fulfilling all outstanding orders or issuing refunds as needed, and this process may take a few more months to complete.To focus on improving our service, we’ve decided to temporarily pause new shop orders and concentrate on enhancing the Daebak Box with exciting collaborations across various Korean brands and regions. Additionally, we are preparing a special compensation package as a small token of gratitude for your patience and support, which we hope will reaffirm your trust in us.
Update 2: Our Team’s Commitment
This past year has been incredibly challenging. We’ve had to say farewell to some dedicated team members, and now, as a smaller team, we are working tirelessly to get back on track. Despite these obstacles, our commitment to you is stronger than ever. We are actively seeking investment and consulting to strengthen Daebak and deliver the quality service you deserve. I want you to know that Daebak is here to stay. While some delays may continue as we work through these transitions, we are dedicated to resolving our current issues and ensuring that, as a valued member, you benefit from these improvements.
