For K-pop fans traveling to Korea, the dream is not just to walk past an entertainment company headquarters or pose at a music video filming spot. It is to sit down, order something, and know that the menu, the seat, or even the building belongs to an idol's family. Over the past decade, this list has grown into a real travel itinerary. BTS, EXO, BIGBANG, SEVENTEEN, and many more have parents and siblings running cafes and restaurants you can actually visit.

Below are 10 verified spots, mostly in Seoul, plus a stop in Busan and Jeju. Each one is connected to a current or former K-pop idol through clear family ownership or co-ownership. Please be a polite guest: order something, keep your voice down, and remember that these are working businesses run by real people who happen to be related to your bias.

1. Cafe Far Ben (BTS RM's sister, Seongsu, Seoul)

Cafe Far Ben opened on July 1, 2024 in the trendy Seongsu district, and it is the first time a BTS family member has run a cafe in Seoul. The owner is Kim Kyung-min, RM's younger sister. RM himself sent a flower wreath that reads, "Little sister! I am cheering for your new start. Kim Namjoon," and Jimin's father also sent a congratulatory wreath, which are both displayed inside. The signature is the Far Ben Chio, a sweet coffee topped with savory peanuts. The space has high ceilings, an airy layout, and a clean, modern interior. To get there, take Seongsu Station on Line 2, exit 3.

2. Magnate, now ZMILLENNIL (BTS Jimin's father, Busan)

Cafe Magnate opened in 2019 in Daeyeon-dong, Busan, in a building that had been a manufacturing plant for nearly 50 years. The owner is Jimin's father, Park Hyeon-su. Inside, a huge chandelier, a Louvre-style portrait of Jimin by artist Lee K, and a display of Jimin's hats turn every corner into a photo zone. The cafe later rebranded to ZMILLENNIL because an unrelated company registered the original trademark, but locals still call it Magnate. It is open daily 10:00 to 21:50, with the last order at 21:20.

3. Ossu Seiromushi (BTS Jin's brother, Yeouido, Seoul)

Ossu Seiromushi is a Japanese steamed-food restaurant owned by Jin's older brother, Kim Seok-joong, with Jin serving as a co-owner and director. The name comes from seiro-mushi, the Japanese technique of steaming food in stacked wooden bamboo crates. The original Songpa branch near Lotte World has closed, and the restaurant now operates from a luxe, museum-like basement space near Yeouido Park at 23-7 Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu. This is where Jin had a memorable pre-enlistment meal with J-Hope, which made the restaurant a pilgrimage spot for ARMY. Set lunch menus tend to sell out, so book ahead.

4. Chompi (BTS Suga's brother, Hannam, Seoul)

Chompi opened on November 11, 2025 in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, on the first floor of a new building owned by Suga's mother. The kitchen is run by Suga's older brother, Min Geum-jae, and the menu is built around Hawaiian-style poke bowls, sandwiches, and coffee. Early reviews praise the generous portions and reasonable prices, and fans have even spotted Suga's family dog Holly being walked nearby. It is one of the newest verified BTS family spots, so expect a line on weekends.

5. Kamong (EXO Kai's sister, Seocho, Seoul)

Kamong is the cafe that pioneered the idea of family-run idol spots in Seoul. The name is a mash-up of Kai and Monggu, the family dog. Kai's older sister runs it, but Kai himself helped set it up and has been spotted serving customers more than once. The signature is the ice cream waffle with assorted fresh fruit, served in a Belgian-style waffle that HYPEBEAST Korea named one of Seoul's best. Cups, napkins, and small props feature Kai's own drawings and handwritten messages. The address is 17 Seocho-daero 42-gil, Seocho-gu, three minutes from Seocho Station exit 1.

6. Making a Better Place / Joheun Sesang Mandeulgi (EXO Chanyeol's father, Yeongdeungpo, Seoul)

Often translated as "Make a Good World," this live cafe is run by Chanyeol's father in a quiet pocket of Yeongdeungpo. Chanyeol's own instruments are displayed inside, fans can leave Post-it messages on a dedicated wall, and the menu covers handmade burgers, fried chicken, beer, and cocktails. Most nights feature live K-pop, oldies, and band performances, including Saturday band sets. The space has also hosted fan meetings for other singers. It opens after 5:30 PM and is closed on Sundays. Address: 248-13 Seonyu-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, near Dangsan Station exit 12.

7. Cafe Aewol Monsant (G-Dragon, Aewol, Jeju)

Big Bang's G-Dragon opened Aewol Monsant in October 2015 on Jeju's western coast. The building is a sculptural mix of basalt stone, reflective glass, and crushed concrete, set right on the sea so the wide windows frame the ocean and the sunset. It became one of the most photographed cafes in Korea almost overnight. G-Dragon stepped back from formal involvement around 2018, but the cafe still trades hard on his original vision and continues to draw VIPs (Big Bang fans) on every Jeju itinerary.

8. FMS Cafe / Farmer's Cafe (SEVENTEEN S.Coups's brother, Seogyo, Seoul)

S.Coups's older brother Choi Seung-min runs FMS Cafe (Farmer's Cafe) in a cafe alley near Hongik University Station, at 9 Donggyo-ro 22-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Operating hours are roughly 10:00 to 19:00, closed Mondays. The cafe has become a flashpoint, though: in September 2025 S.Coups posted directly to Weverse asking Carats not to spend money there because of him, citing personal issues with his brother. The cafe is still open, and fans can choose whether to go. We mention it because it remains a verified family business, with the leader's request part of the story.

9. Untitled, 2017 (G-Dragon, Jeju Shinhwa World)

If you visit Jeju anyway, Untitled, 2017 is G-Dragon's second cafe project, named after his 2017 solo single. It sits inside the YG Republique complex at Jeju Shinhwa World, where G-Dragon served as ambassador. The interior leans into the PEACEMINUSONE daisy logo, with sleek black and white finishes, a custom merchandise wall, and signature drinks. Reports indicate G-Dragon pulled out of formal ownership in early 2018, but the cafe still runs on his blueprint and remains a popular stop for VIPs touring Jeju.

10. Cofioca (EXO Sehun's longtime favorite, Apgujeong, Seoul)

Cofioca is a small bubble tea cafe in Apgujeong that is not technically owned by Sehun, but has been so consistently associated with him that it earns a spot here. Sehun grew up close to the owners, treats it like a second home, and has been seen there with Suho and other EXO members so often that Korea travel guides list it as a Sehun spot. The taro and brown sugar bubble teas are the order. Treat it as a quiet, low-key stop rather than a paparazzi mission, and remember that the owners are not part of the EXO industry.

Tips Before You Go

  • These are working restaurants and cafes, not fan events. Order food, do not stake out the staff, and do not film other customers.
  • Cafe Far Ben, Magnate, Ossu Seiromushi, and Chompi all draw weekend lines. Go on a weekday afternoon for the calmest visit.
  • Cash is rarely needed in Korea, but a T-money card is essential for hopping between Seongsu, Seocho, Yeongdeungpo, and Yeouido in one day.
  • Respect closed days. FMS Cafe is closed Mondays, Making a Better Place is closed Sundays, and Kamong shuts on the first Saturday of the month.
  • If you cannot get to Busan or Jeju, the four central Seoul stops (Cafe Far Ben, Kamong, Ossu Seiromushi, Chompi) can fit into one ambitious day.
