January 15, 20192018 held for many of us lots of ups and downs. In the case of yummy eats, there were lots of ups and credit must be given where credit is due. Last year brought the release of many delicious and unique Korean snacks! Here are just a few:

Nongshim released a new flavour of potato chips: corn and cheese! The company describes it as tasting both sweet and savory.

If you love Choco Pies, you’re sure to enjoy this treat! Orion gave us this fruity flavour combination of figs and strawberries in a sweet snack pie!
Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen Black Bean Sauce
Samyang’s Hot Chicken Flavour Ramen has continued to increase in popularity internationally ever since the The Fire Noodle Challenge went viral on YouTube. This year, a new flavour was released: Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen with Sweet Black Bean Sauce (짜장불닭볶음면). This is the perfect ramen flavour for lovers of the Korean-Chinese dish Jjajangmyeon (자장면).
Kkobuk Chips: Himalayan Salt Flavor (꼬북칩 히말라야 소금맛)
Orion’s Turtle Chips has become a favourite of snackers, especially among us here at SnackFever! Thankfully, they have released yet another yummy flavour for this four-layer chip: Pink Himalayan Salt.

This healthy snack is advertised as being full of natural ingredients, pasta sauce, and whole wheat in the form of a crunchy pasta chip snack, combining K-snacks with flavours from Italy. There are currently two flavours: Tomato & Onion and Mushroom Cream.
