In this article, you will find more about their The Name Chapter: Freefall album and some funny facts about them. Let's learn more about TXT and their marvelous songs with The Daebak Company!

TXT’s The Name Chapter: Freefall

Returning to the spotlight with a bang, the rising boy band TXT has once again appeared in the music scene with their third studio album, THE NAME CHAPTER: FREEFALL, released on October 13, 2023. The album features ten unique tracks that showcase TXT's signature musical style, demonstrating how the band's artistry continues to grow and evolve.

THE NAME CHAPTER: FREEFALL is available in three versions: REALITYMELANCHOLYCLARITY. Each version includes a CD, a band, a Weverse Card, a Sticker, a card envelope, a QR Card - random, 1 out of 3, and photocards - random 2 out of 10. Fans can purchase the album from various sources, including here at The Daebak Company.

In an interview with Teen Vogue, band member Taehyun shared that the album is about facing reality and showing a determination to grow, which naturally comes with some growing pains. This theme is reflected in songs like "Growing Pain" and "Chasing That Feeling."

One of the album's highlights is the TXT version of 'Back for More,' a song primarily done in collaboration with Brazilian singer-songwriter Anitta. This new take on the song adds a fresh twist, highlighting TXT's versatility and willingness to experiment with different musical styles.

Here’s a list of the Freefall Tracklist:

  1. Growing Pain
  2. Chasing That Feeling
  3. Back For More (TXT Ver.)
  4. Dreamer
  5. Deep Down
  6. Happily Ever After
  7. Skipping Stones
  8. Blue Spring
  9. Do It Like That by TOMORROW X TOGETHER & Jonas Brothers
  10. Chasing That Feeling (English Ver.)

“Chasing That Feeling" is a new wave song with synthesizers and 80s vibes that highlight the charms of TXT in this new stage. Leaving behind the sweet but stagnant past that we talked about previously and that did not allow them to grow, this song highlights their new beginning.

In the music video, you can see the members crashing into the Earth (specifically, a sewer) and then chasing the lights separately. Although the members separate to search for the lights, these same ones bring them back together, merging into one. This can be a metaphor for the strength that TXT has when they are united with the same goal.

We can continue to see these changes at the end of the MV, when buildings and roads undergo dimensional changes, even though everything around the TXT members stays the same. For the geekiest of us, this may remind us of the comic book and movie superhero Dr. Strange (Marvel), playing with physical dimensions and perceptions.

With THE NAME CHAPTER: FREEFALL, TXT continues to innovate and solidify its place as one of the most dynamic forces in today's music scene. Their collaboration with artists, such as the Jonas Brothers in this one, exhibits a brighter future for this young team.

A Look Into Act: Sweet Mirage World Tour

TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) kicked off their second world tour, ACT: SWEET MIRAGE, on March 25, 2023, in Seoul. The tour is set to conclude on December 3, 2023, also in Seoul, making it a grand international journey that spans several months.

Big Hit Music first announced this exciting news on X, formerly Twitter, on January 16, 2023, sending TXT fans into a frenzy as they eagerly anticipated the chance to see their idols perform live.

During the tour, TXT has been enchanting audiences with a repertoire of 25 songs, including fan favorites like "Angel or Devil," "Anti-Romantic," and "9 and Three Quarters (Run Away)." Their performances have been met with widespread acclaim, further cementing their status as one of the leading acts in the global music scene.

Being close to finishing the world tour, they have two dates left in South Korea. Even so, they have passed with cities such as Washington, Osaka, San Antonio, and Los Angeles.
