#A Bit More About Ahn Bo Hyun Shows and Life

Born in Busan, he originally debuted in 2007 as a model and started his acting career only seven years later with various roles in movies and dramas.

In 2016, Ahn Bo Hyun participated in the series Descendants of the Sun, where he played Im Kwang Nam. He also participated in the series Her Private Life in 2019, where he played another supporting role, Nam Eun Gi.

Only in 2020, with the role of the despicable Jang Geun Won, he finally started to get the recognition he deserved and soon after got the part of the main character (Seo Do Gyun) in the series Kairos.

His latest projects are the ones that really got him a lot of attention, so let's take a better look at Ahn Bo Hyun's shows, starting off with Yumi's Cells.

#Yumi’s Cells

Based on a webtoon, Yumi's Cells offers a unique perspective into daily life and romance since, even though the main character is, in fact, Yoo Mi, as the title may suggest, we see her going through her life from the point of view of her brain cells.

In particular, after a painful breakup, Yoo Mi's love cells have fallen into a coma, and her body has to try everything to help her wake them up again. To help her heal from her past comes her knight in shining armor, obviously played by our Ahn Bo Hyun.

In this series, he played Goo Woong, a game developer who finds it hard to express his feelings but that, unexpectedly, after meeting Yoo Mi, he finds the courage to draw closer to her day by day. It's a really heartwarming series and an even more heartwarming performance. We couldn't skip Yumi's Cells from the list of Ahn Bo Hyun shows!

#My Name

Altogether a different genre for the second title on the list of Ahn Bo Hyun shows, My Name.

This one is quite far from a psychological romantic drama. This one is, in fact, an action thriller focused on the revenge of Yoon Ji Woo, played by the stunning Han So Hee, a woman who decides to uncover the truth and get revenge on the people who killed her father. To achieve her goal, she decides to become part of a drug crime gang, Dongcheon, whose boss, Choi Moo Jin, helps her get undercover in the police.

Here she is partnered with Jeon Pil Do, played by Ahn Bo Hyun, a police officer of the Drug Investigation Unit famous for sticking to the rules.

Despite their differences and initial hate, the two start to spark an unexpected chemistry which soon leads to a very romantic tension.

In this show, Ahn Bo Hyun plays the role of a strict police officer whose sternness comes from the trauma of losing his sister to drugs. The goal of avoiding that other people may fall on the same path is what drives his conviction. He slowly comes to trust Ji Woo after risking his life with her, and the feelings get deeper and deeper.

A must-watch on the Ahn Bo Hyun shows list!

#Military Prosecutor Doberman

Do Bae Man, played by Ahn Bo Hyun, has chosen his career as a prosecutor only for money and success. In contrast, his new partner, Cha Woo In, played by Jo Bo Ah, is a privileged chaebol daughter pursuing her career to get revenge and fears nothing. The two end up working together, and despite their initial enmity, they soon start to respect each other, to the point that Do Bae Man start to change as a person and as a prosecutor under the influence of his partner's passion. Not only do the duo begin to uncover corruption together, but they soon start to have feelings for each other.

In this series, Ahn Bo Hyun had a chance to prove his great acting range by playing a grey character who slowly starts to find a renowned conviction in his role as a prosecutor. This was an excellent opportunity to show his ability to build solid chemistry with his partners.

Military Prosecutor Doberman is probably the least-known series on the list of Ahn Bo Hyun shows, but definitely, a must-watch!

#See You in My 19th Life

The most recent among the Ahn Bo Hyun shows on the list, See You in My 19th Life, is a series that was completed just a few weeks ago and received enthusiastic reviews.

The plot follows the story of Ban Ji Eum, a woman with the unique ability to remember her past lives. She has never let the past interfere with the present in her previous existence. However, after her latest life was cut short after a car accident, she decided to reconnect with the people she had known before, starting with her 18th life's first love, Moon Seo Ha, played by Ahn Bo Hyun. She also meets again her "previous" sister, Yoon Joo Won, who almost immediately recognizes her despite her different appearance.

In this series, Ahn Bo Hyun plays the role of a man whose life has been changed forever by the trauma of losing all the people he cared about, including Yoon Joo Won (Ban Ji Eum previous name). He seems cold and avoids getting attached to people but starts to warm up again once he meets Ban Ji Eum.

If you're into a series with reincarnation and a sweet love story, this one is a must-watch among Ahn Bo Hyun shows!

Besides the attention he received due to his relationship, Ahn Bo Hyun is an actor who deserves a lot of recognition for his performances and the interesting and diverse roles he takes on!
