SF9 Comes Back in 2023 with The Piece of 9 and Puzzle MV!

The new year has come, and we're excited to see what's new for the Kpop world. Our favorite groups start to show up their new projects and an infinity of adventures to spend a fantastic time this 2023. The K-pop group SF9 made their long-awaited comeback this January with their 12th mini album, THE PIECE OF9, and Puzzle MV.

SF9 (Hangul: 에스에프나인) is a South Korean boy band created by FNC Entertainment and the company's first group of dance boys. The group is composed of: In Seong, Young Bin, Jae Yoon, Da Won, Zu Ho, Ro Woon, Tae Yang, Hwi Young, and Cha Ni, made their debut on October 5, 2016, with the release of their first single album, Feeling Sensation. 

However, it should be noted that the group had a pre debut where it performed for the first time in Japan on December 11, 2015. At that time, the group consisted of 11 members. 

In May 2016, they participated as "NEOZ Dance" in FNC Entertainment's survival program d.o.b (Dance or Band), competing against NEOZ Band (following known as Honeyst). They later won the program with their first song, "K.O.," which was included on the single album" Feeling Sensation. " In August, they changed their name to SF9. 

Like fans, we're very enthusiastic that SF9 has returned on January 9 with their 12th mini album, THE PIECE OF9. On social media, the band had already published a poster of the album's title song, Puzzle, on December 19, 2022.  

According to the exciting artwork depicting the shooting target, the mini album and the title track were published on Monday. The song title and album name refer to piecing together the dispersed parts (PIECE) like a puzzle and progressing toward a full SF9.

Though the shooting-themed artwork conveys a dark and ominous feeling, additional information about the album's concept and tracklist were disclosed in the following weeks of its announcement.

The group's first album in six months is THE PIECE OF9. Their most recent release was the 11th mini album, THE WAVE OF9, which was promoted in July 2022 by six of the group's nine members - Jaeyoon, Dawon, Zuho, Taeyang, Hwiyoung, and Chani. The reason? The group will be promoting the album as a seven-piece act as Youngbin and Inseong have been serving their mandatory military service since March.  

Fans have been eagerly awaiting Rowoon's return to the stage, as he had to miss the group's U.S. tour and SF9's latest album due to scheduling conflicts with the filming of his drama.

The group's spectacular US tour, LIVE FANTASY #4 DELIGHT, which was their first trip to the US in over three and a half years, has just brought the six active members back together. 

After opening with a three-night run in Seoul, the band played concerts in five US cities, including New York, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, and Los Angeles. They played Scream, the first single from their most recent album, THE WAVE OF9, and several of their most popular songs.

'THE PIECE OF9' includes a total of 6 tracks, the title track "Puzzle," following "Love Colour," "New World," "Fighter," "Tight," and "Stay with me." Each song contains a unique rhythm that will make you dance and enjoy this new year 2023, so that, as the title of the album says, let's be a piece of SF9 to fall more in love with Kpop music.

A new world appears for SF9. With this single, the path is clear for them, the past is behind them, and it is time to break it to dream together with the future. The old and rotten things are gone, and a new era of SF9 begins to arrive!!  

With a slightly faster rhythm, Fighter stays in our minds for a long time. Thanks to its catchy lyrics, the song's desire to combat and win the fight in our hearts is quite eviden

With SF9, we will not be afraid to cross that unknown path because this song contains beautiful lyrics where this group of guys tells us that we can build a new path where we will run through the darkness to achieve it.
