How to Get a Rich Guy in 16 Episodes
Korean dramas always set our expectations high. It also typically tells a very cliche story that we register as something that would not happen in the real world. One classic drama storyline has a wealthy male lead who the female lead ends up with by the end. All in good fun (of course), let’s see how we can get our own rich love interest according to these three famous dramas!

I Am Not a Robot
According to this plot, you need to pretend to be a robot in order to get the rich guy to fall in love with you. Kim Min-gyu (Yoo Seung-Ho) is the greatest shareholder in a large financial company. He has a high IQ, but has a rare allergy where he cannot be in contact with other people. Jo Ji-ah (Jo Bo-ah) is a passionate inventor who is recruited to be sent to Min-gyu as a pretend AI robot. Due to a malfunction that damages the original robot, Ji-ah becomes the “robot” and deceives him into believing that he’s interacting with the robot the entire time. Min-gyu falls in love with Ji-ah as a robot. When the truth is revealed, he feels tricked; and Ji-ah and Min-gyu must slowly rebuild trust to end up together. But the girl does get the rich guy!
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
You can sweep the CEO of a gaming company off their feet if you are a strong woman, literally. Park Bo-Young plays the titular Do Bong-soon in this drama, a character who has super strength. If you are to follow in Bong Soon’s footsteps to get your very own Ahn Min-Hyuk (Park Hyung-Sik), you start off being the CEO’s bodyguard. However, in the beginning, you may or may not think the rich guy is trying to steal your crush!
Boys Over Flowers
This is the original, classic drama with a plot featuring a rich guy and a lower class lady. Geum Jan-di (Goo Hye-sun) is a normal girl who suddenly finds herself attending a prestigious private school where she bumps into Gu Jun-Pyo (Lee Min-Ho) and the rest of the powerful, terrible F4, a group of rich heirs. Jan-di ended up getting Jun-Pyo to fall for her unintentionally because he is intrigued when she stands up to him. How to get the rich guy? Show him that you're no pushover.
Heirs
Another classic rich vs poor drama, starring the famous Lee Min-Ho as Kim Tan, “Heirs” follows a group of rich and privileged high school students who will inherit their families’ business empires. Two teens from different social backgrounds, Kim Tan and Cha Eun-Sang (Park Shin-Hye), reunite at an exclusive high school for the wealthy in South Korea after a coincidental encounter in L.A. Although engaged to Rachel Yoo (Kim Ji-won), Kim Tan falls for Eun-Sang despite their class difference. Land this rich guy by being yourself through and through.
With these amazing dramas, you can learn how to unrealistically get your very own wealthy significant other. Perhaps they provide fodder for your own stories of fan fiction, scripts, or other creative venture! Nonetheless, these dramas are entertaining to watch even if some are cliche. If you haven’t already, be sure to watch these dramas. But remember, drama isn't real life, no matter how much we want it to be.
