It was one of the RM books recommendations that helped in creating their concept and song. Demian inspired the WINGS album and "Blood, Sweat & Tears." Although the song features the theme of good and evil, you can appreciate the art elements in the audiovisual and complex composition in the MV of "Blood, Sweat & Tears." 

A true literary classic, this book narrates the life of Gregorio Samsa, a cloth salesman, who one morning undergoes complete metamorphosis and wakes up transformed into a monstrous insect. The story tells of the impact of this event on his life and his family.

It is a short story developed in 1973, where the narrator describes a festival held during the summer in the utopian city of Omelas, the success of which depends on the perpetual misery of one boy.

It is one of the most known among BTS RM book recommendations since it was featured in their hit song, Spring Day. The song continues to be a mega-hit among new and long-time ARMYs for its heartfelt lyrics and amazing MV. So don't forget to add this book to your RM reading list!

It is a Korean novel that deals with the life of Yunjae, a young man who suffers from alexithymia (inability to identify or feel emotions). To fit in with society, his mother and grandmother teach him to recognize these expressions in others. After a tragedy takes away the women who guide him, the protagonist must learn to live alone.

Almond by Won Pyung Soh garnered the praises, not just with Kim Namjoon's book recommendations but also by Suga and J-Hope too! During In The Soop, BTS RM and Suga recommended the book. BTS J-Hope also read the book during their stay. 

For romance lovers, Me before you by Jojo Moyes is one of the books recommended by Namjoon. It is a romantic novel that brings to life two people who couldn't have less in common. Louisa Clark, is an enthusiastic, dreamy, and cheerful young woman who will cross her path with Will, a young millionaire who suffers from complete paralysis. 

Haruki Murakami has been one of the BTS RM's favorite authors, so it is no surprise if his favorite comes from the author's collection. Among RM's recommended books, and his favorite one, is Kafka on the Shore.
