The Hidden Gems of Planetarium Records
The many wonders of K-pop are finding those hidden gems. There are a lot of Korean artists that are not that mainstream but known in the music industry. That is the case with Planetarium Records soloists June, Moti, Jung Jinwoo, Gaho, Kei G, and Leenzy. They have formed an r&b/hip hop collaboration project called PLT on January 2, 2018.
If you are not familiar with Planetarium Records soloists, let's have a brief introduction of each of the artists!
JUNE
June, also known as Lee Jun Sang, is a songwriter, vocalist, and composer. He used to be signed under Big Hit Entertainment and trained with BTS. He is credited for writing a lot of K-pop songs, including BTS "Not Today." June debuted as a soloist with "Serenade" on April 17, 2018.
On July 28, 2020, June released his first mini-album, Ending. He also released a music video for his title track, "Anywhere." The song "Anywhere" is a lovely upbeat song that makes you want to groove with your friends all night. You can check out the mv down below:
Moti
Born in 1996, Moti is a rapper and songwriter under Planetarium Records. The meaning of his stage name is "Motivator" because he wants to motivate people through his music. On July 8, 2018, he debuted as a soloist with his song "Blue." He is also part of the r&b crew "Alphadict" alongside with PLT members except for Kei G.
Moti released his single "Want" on December 30, 2019. "Want" is the perfect song to just lay back and enjoy your day by yourself or with anyone. Check the mv down below:
Jung Jinwoo
Jung Jinwoo, also known as P.ODD, is a vocalist, songwriter, composer, and producer. He competed on Kpop Star (a Korean reality show) twice. He was eliminated before the top 10 in Kpop Star 3 but making it to the top 8 in Kpop Star 5. He lived San Franciso, Los Angles, and Chicago before debuting in Korea.
Jinwoo made his official debut in September 2016 with his single "B Side U." His song "Nowhere" has a deep meaning of feeling alone in the world full of people. Jinwoo has a calming voice that is perfect for listening to when you want to relax.
Gaho
Gaho is a vocalist, songwriter, and producer. He has worked on a few OSTs for K-dramas, including "Time" (2018) and "While You Were Sleeping" (2017). He is also part of the R&B crew "Alphadict."
He made his solo debut on May 2, 2018 with "Stay Here." You can check out his mv for "Fly" down below:
Kei G
Kei.G is a singer and producer under Planetarium Records. He is the only PLT member that is not part of the R&B crew "Alphadict." Although he does not feature in most of PLT music videos, he helps produce the intro and outro of each PLT album.

Leenzy
The last member of PLT is Leenzy. She was born in New York City and came to Korea to debut as a singer. She made her official debut with "Alright" on October 13, 2019.
Leenzy is known for her unique deep voice. She released her first mini-album, Wish Me A Good Day, on December 12, 2019. Her title track is "Shining," a groovy song perfect for those chilly fall nights. Check her music video for "Shining" down below:
