Waking Up to K-Pop Acoustics

"Your Scent" by Norwegian Wood, Twoat

“Your Scent” plays a lively acoustic melody, that is accompanied by the perfectly-blended harmonies brought by Norwegian Wood and Twoat, this song feels like a calm morning spent in a café.

This song sounds like the perfect way to kickstart your exciting yet calm day. Enjoy this song as you sip on your coffee in the nearby cafe as the cool fall breeze starts to wake you up.

"I'm Gonna Love You" by D.O., Wonstein

From the first song giving you chill vibes whilst sipping on coffee, this second track is bound to make you want to stand up and explore the city, seaside, or wherever you are. D.O.’s voice fits a breezy morning and afternoon of exploration as it perfectly fits the song’s perky melody

After strolling through cities and exploring new places, the golden hour is upon us. You walk around to see some buskers playing their guitars as they cover different songs–and you can’t help but stop and listen to them when “Love Me Like That” comes up.

Sam Kim is an American singer-songwriter, producer, and guitarist based in South Korea and signed with Antenna Music. He is known for lending his vocals to many beloved OSTs such as “Breath” for It’s Okay Not To Be Okay. This track is an OST for Han Sohee and Song Kang’s popular K-Drama Nevertheless.

K-Pop Acoustics to End your Day

"Like We Just Met" by NCT DREAM

With the way the acoustic guitar becomes the base of the song, to the way the NCT DREAM member’s voices add harmonies and different textures to the song, “Like We Just Met” sounds sentimental. The perfect song to listen to when recounting the day’s adventures.

Although the sun has already ended, it doesn’t mean that your day is ending yet. After watching the buskers on the street, it’s time for you to find a place for dinner. You’re supposed to find a nearby restaurant, but you decide to buy your dinner from the convenience store and eat by Han River.

"Sweet Night" by V

After eating dinner and cleaning up after yourself, it’s finally time to head home. The cold breeze seems more comforting now than annoying as you walk around for one last time before taking the bus back to where you’re staying.

“Sweet Night” by BTSV is a song that is backed up mostly by an acoustic guitar. But the addition of the piano and violin as the song plays makes it more bittersweet. The artist’s vocals, combined with the female harmony, makes listeners feel warm as they listen to it. It’s a good song to listen to as you look back on your adventures for the day.

"Star" by Colde

As soon as you get home, all you want to do is prepare for bed. Once you get past the door, you lock it, drop your bag, sit on the couch, stare out the window, and play this song as you look back on how your day unfolded.

“Star” by Colde is one of the OSTs for See You In My 19th Life featuring actor Ahn Bohyun. The melody of the song feels ‘stripped’ due to how most of the track is played on an acoustic guitar. It makes the song not just good to be played at night, but something to listen to as you get unready.
