The plot

The Glory revolves around Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo), a woman whose life was ruined by a group of bullies, lead by Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon), when she was in high school.

They physically scarred her for life, forced her to drop out of school, and almost pushed her to suicide.

Twenty years after the events that took place in High school, none of the bullies seem to have repented for their actions, especially Lim Ji Yeon, and Moon Dong Eun won't let it slide.

She has a precise plan for all of them and puts it into action to perfection, granting us some fantastic and unforgettable scenes.

Among the many we saw, we decided to select the ones that stood out the most.

The following article will be full of spoilers. Keep reading at your discretion.

#1 Lim Ji Yeon's Weather forecast in jail (episode 16)

Lim Ji Yeon's performance throughout the series was incredible; both her expressions and her voice delivered her emotions perfectly in every scene and made us hate her with every fiber in our body, but this scene in particular, the closure of her character, is something we will very unlikely be able to forget.

Here, Lim Ji Yeon's beliefs crumble as she finally cries while still pretending to live her spoiled, perfect princess-like life.

It was extremely satisfactory for us viewers.

#2 Song Hye Kyo applauding Lim Ji Yeon (episode 3)

This is the first time that Lim Ji Yeon meets Song Hey Kyo after many years, and she is, understandably, scared even though she still doesn't want to admit it and wants, in every possible way, to play it down.

When they talk to each other, Lim Ji Yeon is objectively shaken up, but when she sees Song Hye Kyo applauding her while receiving a prize at their old high school, she cannot conceal her restlessness, almost as if she could foresee her future.

#3 Yeom Hye Ran slapping Lim Ji Yeon (episode 15)

Yeom Hye Ran's role is one of the few funny and cheerful characters in this drama, Kang Hyun Nam, the complete opposite of Lim Ji Yeon's role.

Kang Hyun Nam is fundamental in Dong Eun's revenge and faithfully helps her while keeping her in touch with her most humane and pure emotions. Aside from Lee Do Hyun, she is the only one who makes her laugh.

This scene comes after some episodes that almost made us doubt Hyun Nam's loyalty to Dong Eun. Here she earns back our trust and creates one of the series' most emotional moments.

Lim Ji Yeon tries to threaten and unnerve her, like she did in the previous episodes, by talking about her abusive husband and her beloved daughter but ends up provoking Yeom Hey Ran, who slaps Lim Ji Yeon in the face right before her husband.

#4 Song Hye Kyo removes her coat in front of Jung Sung Il (episode 10)

After Cha Joo Young informs him about his Lim Ji Yeon's horrendous past and he becomes painfully aware of her cheating on him with Park Sung Hoon, Jung Sung Il has a heated argument with his wife.

Aware that Dong Eun is behind every step he takes toward the truth, he then decides to meet her in a hotel and is ultimately shocked once she removes her coat.

Being directly confronted with what his wife caused differs from simply imagining it.

#5 Park Sung Hoon beating Oh Ji Yul's teacher (episode 12)

This scene may not be part of the leading plot development, but it is one of the most iconic of the series and includes the internet sweetheart Park Sung Hoon, who play Jean Jae Joon, Lim Ji Yeon's lover.

After discovering, through Moon Dong Eun, that one of Ye Sol's teachers is a pervert who takes inappropriate pictures of the children, Jeon Jae Joon runs to the office and starts beating him up, to the great satisfaction of the viewers who quickly started to hate this character, due to his unpleasant nature.

Sadly Ye Sol ends up witnessing the whole scene and is shaken up.

#6 Jung Sung Il and Oh Ji Yul's heartwarming moment (episode 15)

Despite both Lim Ji Yeon and Jung Sung Il trying to protect her from the information circulating online, Ye Sol still discovers the truth and, in a heartwarming scene, asks for forgiveness from her father, who holds her in his arms while comforting her.

#Song Hye Kyo and Lee Do Hyun's first kiss (episode 16)

Moon Dong Eun and Joo Yeo Jeong's love story has captivated the viewers since their first meeting, thanks to the undeniable talent of the screenwriters and the incredible chemistry shown on screen by Song Hye Kyo and Lee Do Hyun, despite their age gap.

Yeo Jeong shows his loyalty to Dong Eun through the series on many occasions and actively helps her achieve her revenge. However, on this particular occasion, the roles change, and Dong Eun decides to help him avenge his father.

Here is a special video including all their special moments and at min.14.32 their kiss.

#Lim Ji Yeon and Cha Joo Young confrontation (episode 10)

Cha Joo Young's character, Hye Jeong, is part of the bully group, and indeed, like the rest of its members, she is not a nice person. Still, she has a role quite different from the others since she is treated almost like a victim and frequently ridiculed, especially by Lim Ji Yeon.

In this scene, she manages to get her revenge by revealing to Lim Ji Yeon that she got her latest expensive bag from her husband and hinting that she could have easily slept with him if she wanted to.

Lim Ji Yeon is visibly shocked and worried but tries to hide it with her usual attitude.

The Glory left an undeniable impression on the viewers, as proven by its ratings in many countries all over the world, and this is also due to the incredible acting skills of the cast, both the main cast (Lim Ji Yeon, Song Hye Kyo, Lee Do Huyn, etc) and the ones who had less screen time, Kim Jung Young (who interpreted Lee Do Hyun's mother), Lee Moo Saeng (psychopath killer Kang Yeong Chun), Jung Ji So (the young Song Hye Kyo), Kim Gun Woo (who played Jae Joon's handyman Son Myeong Oh), Shin Ye Eun (the young Lim Ji Yeon), everyone made this incredible screenplay come to life, and we will never stop thanking them.
