10 Cafes in Korea with a View - The Daebak Company

South Korea is known for its variety of interesting cafes, some known for their mouth-watering desserts and refreshing drinks, some—for the modern or maybe even unique interior and entertainment. Are you a cafe lover interested in travelling to Korea? Well then, buckle up, because these cafes have the best views to enjoy the landscape all over the country!

  • 1인1잔

This cafe is a clash between modern and traditional, residing among the beautiful houses at the foot of the Bukhan Mountain (Bukhansan), which you can see right out of the cafe’s windows. It is located in the north of Seoul, so if you’re not sure about venturing too far from the city, this place is definitely worth checking out.

  • Cafe Mario (카페마리)

A cozy cafe situated in the nature of Gapyeong provides its customers with a truly breathtaking view of the mountains. It's a romantic spot for couples or people who love to feel like they are the main character in a romantic drama, waiting for something special to happen while sipping on their drink and overlooking the beauty of the landscape.

  • Jeonmang Cafe (전망)

You can find this cafe in the city of Jeonju, a little more to the southwest of South Korea, located in the Jeonju Hanok Village, which contains over 800 traditional Korean houses. It definitely feels like travelling back in time and then, as you are tasting the modern sweets and drinks, you are suddenly pulled back to the present.

  • Kona House (코나하우스)

Truly, a place asking to be photographed, the cafe’s architecture and details blend into the environment and make it an exceptionally special place, perfect stop for a holiday. Just imagine as the sunset colors the sky, the sound of waves crashing into the shore, mild breeze blowing through your hair, and a favorite drink in your hand... All that in Namhae Island, the very south of South Korea.

  • Liebevoll (리베볼)

To the west of Daegu, in a place called Seongju, you can find a cosy-looking cafe surrounded by trees and hills, almost at the edge of Gayasan National Park. The best time to visit the cafe is during autumn when the leaves change their colors and everything looks just a little bit more magical.

  • BSTONY COFFEE (비스토니 커피)

Built on Dolsan Island, Yeosu, this cafe by the sea has a bright atmosphere; and by looking at the landscape, it seems as if you are on a summer vacation, ready to lounge in a comfortable seat and just enjoy the moment.

  • Coffee IT House (커피잇집)

If you are looking for a good spot to take a picture of a famous tourist attraction, but are not sure where to go, Coffee IT House is definitely “it.” Overlooking the Busan Gamcheon Culture Village, the pink walls of the cafe blend in perfectly, enticing you to come in and enjoy the view.

  • Sonmokseoga (손목서가)

This quaint little cafe in Busan is also a bookstore—a romantic dream once the sun sneaks to hide under the horizon. The sea, the smell of books, a few kittens strolling around, what could be better? A perfect place to take yourself out on a date.

  • SUNGDANGMOT CAFE (성당못)

A charming cafe in Daegu, close to a pond with the same name, surrounded by trees and other plants that you can see through the huge windows, making it a delightful place to hang out with family and friends.

  • Wknd Lounge

If you are in Korea for only a little while or going to leave soon, this cafe is located in Incheon, about 35 kilometres from Incheon International Airport, so it is a nice balance between being convenient and refreshing, a place where you can rest there for a while, as well as admire the industrial view of the Incheon city. Being relatively new, the cafe has a minimalistic design, highlighting the liveliness of the city.

That is all! Of course, not entirely true, because there are many various cafes in South Korea that have so much to offer, be it a picturesque view or a tasty beverage, you only have to look around.
