Ever wonder what your favorite K-celebs are eating lately? Look no further than their social media! The familiar faces we know and love from Korean entertainment occasionally turn to SNS to share photo-worthy foods, delivering a double helping of aesthetics and taste, and giving fans a closer look into what they’d most likely be found eating for lunch. Let’s take a trip through treats from Korea and beyond, and who knows? Maybe we’ll find our next spark of snackspiration!
BLACKPINK have made some historical achievements this year, from performing at Coachella to embarking on a full North American tour. We sometimes wonder how they do it all, but look no further! Jisoo, Rosé, Lisa, and Jennie have made it known that they keep themselves going with sometimes nutritious but always delicious snacks, drinks, and meals. The girls are obviously big foodies, so we have compiled some of their most mouth-watering posts sharing their favorite foods!
- Rose: Wafels and Dinges Coffee
We can imagine life as an idol can be draining at times, and that a caffeine fix is definitely a necessity. Rosé gets hers from a food truck in New York City, Wafels and Dinges. This Belgian stand has been specializing in traditional waffles since they got their start in 2007, and they also offer specialty coffee and espresso. As if that was not enough to have us hopping on the first train to Manhattan, they also make their own lemonade daily and serve locally made ice cream!
- Rosé: French Fries
The girls of BLACKPINK are well known for their incredible figures, but that doesn’t mean they don’t indulge every once in a while! Rosé is an avid carb connoisseur just like the rest of us. These french fries are served with what looks to be house-made ketchup and look to be quite a few steps above your typical fast food fry.
- Jennie: Latte
Just like her fellow BLACKPINK members, Jennie is not one to shy away from a good coffee. Here, she enjoys a latte with her bandmates on a bright and sunny morning. Frothy milk and a quality espresso mix to create a harmonious experience, one that Jennie can appreciate as much as us fans!
- Jennie: Korean BBQ
Korean barbecue has made headlines recently for its unique culture and flavor, combining grilled meat with the sharp crunch of kimchi and other delicious banchan (반찬: side dishes). BLACKPINK definitely need the protein to keep up with their strenuous schedules, so we’re glad to see Jennie enjoying some mouth-watering bbq!
- Jisoo: Dippin’ Dots
Are you a fan of ice cream? Who are we kidding, of course you are! Dippin' dots are a unique ice cream treat comprised of little frozen balls of goodness. On their trip to Universal Studios, Jisoo picked up a cup of cotton candy Dippin’ Dots to tide her over in the spring heat of Florida.
- Jisoo: Candy
Jisoo is well-known for her energetic and youthful attitude, and now we know where she gets it! Posing in front of a wall of everything from Hi-Chew to Rice Krispie Treats, Jisoo balances a box of Hershey’s chocolates on her head. We hope she didn’t go too crazy after snapping this pic!
- Lisa: Butterbeer
While Jisoo was off enjoying her Dippin’ Dots at Universal Studios, Lisa opted for a more sophisticated drink, known as Butterbeer. Butterbeer originates from the Harry Potter universe and is made up of cream soda, caramel, butter, whipped cream, and powdered sugar. It’s described as tasting “a little bit like less-sickly butterscotch.” Although it does contain a bit of alcohol in the original stories, rest assured that the replica available at the theme park is safe for all ages.
- Lisa: Kettle Corn
We know the girls of BLACKPINK to be big snackers, and Lisa is no exception. Here, she indulges in a bag of Popcorn Indiana Kettle Corn. Kettle corn is a sweet and salty variety of popcorn enjoyed by many at street fairs, carnivals, and parties. We love seeing Lisa enjoy herself with this delicious and addicting snack!
We are so jealous of the variety of foods the girls get to try during their global travels. What are some of your go-to snacks when travelling and relaxing? Don’t forget to follow the girls of BLACKPINK on Instagram to keep up with their foodie adventures!
