The Meaning Behind the Songs
Both songs carry deep meanings that Stray Kids wants to convey to their fans. "Double Knot" invites listeners to tie their shoelaces twice and run fearlessly toward the world. On the other hand, "Levanter" talks about breaking away from the world's "perfect concepts" and focusing on reality.

The Teaser and Buildup
The singles were teased on January 9 with a surprise announcement that Stray Kids would drop something on January 24. The photo read, "2020.1.24 Coming Soon." STAYs were surprised by the sudden news, and speculation flew among fans about what would be released. On January 14, teaser photos revealed the members in a dark, cultural setting amidst traditional Korean architecture, giving STAYs a glimpse of the music video for the English version of "Double Knot."

Music and Availability
The EDM, hip-hop, and trap elements of "Double Knot" perfectly match the vibe of the music video. While "Levanter" does not have an English music video, the lyrical hip-hop ballad is available on Stray Kids' official Spotify.

What's Next: District 9 World Tour
Shortly after the release of the English album, Stray Kids embarked on the US leg of their District 9: Unlock World Tour, with stops in Southeast Asia and Europe as well. It is highly likely that they will perform the English versions of both songs.
