BTS's V and Wooga Squad To Appear On "In The SOOP: Friendship Trip"

You’ve seen BTS. You’ve seen Seventeen. Now get ready for ”In The SOOP: Friendship Trip” starring BTS’s V, Park Seo-Joon, Choi Woo-sik, Park Hyung-sik, and Peakboy! Following the news of the BTS members’ solo projects, this new spin-off of the popular “In The SOOP” series features this star-studded cast of best friends, known more widely as the Wooga Squad. 

A mix of Korean musical artists and Kdrama stars, this will be the first time fans see the group hanging out on the screen outside of the popular historical Kdrama, “Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth,” where the group first met. 

If you have been a fan of Kdramas for quite some time, you may have seen Park Seo-Joon in works like “Itaewon Class,” “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim,” and “Kill Me, Heal Me,” Choi Woo-sik in “Parasite” and “Train to Busan,” or Park Hyung-sik in “Strong Woman Do Bong-soon” and “Suits.” Park Hyung-sik has also sung tracks for Kdrama OST albums such as “Because of You” for “Strong Woman Do Bong-soon” and “I’ll Be Here” for “Hwarang.”

V is most famously known in the worldwide K-pop sensation, BTS, with their most recent comeback being with their PROOF anthology, featuring the title track “Yet to Come.” V has also been featured in many Kdrama ost albums such as “Sweet Night” for “Itaewon Class” and “Christmas Tree” for “Our Beloved Summer.” 

Peakboy is also famously known for his songwriting, with tracks in “Show Me the Money” and collaborations with many Kpop and K-indie artists such as Wheein from Mamamoo, Heize, Paul Kim, and Urban Zakapa.

For those new to the “In The SOOP” universe, the reality series features artists casually hanging out and doing fun activities together in the forest (“Soop” in Korean is “Forest”). The show lets fans see the casual interests and hobbies of their favorite Hallyu idols outside of their entertainment careers.
