Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint Movie Adds BlackPink's Jisoo to Cast

If you’re a K-Pop or Webtoon fan, we have good news for both of you. Webtoon announced that Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint is being adapted into a movie. 

Here's what you need to know about the Webtoon and what character Jisoo will be playing in Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.

Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint follows an average office worker named Dokja, who is the only reader of a web novel called Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse. 

But when the real world starts to merge with the fictional world, Dokja uses the web novel to change our fate. 

The movie will be directed by Kim Byung Woo and will be released in 2025. The cast started filming in December 2023.

Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint brings together the acting powers of Lee Min Ho and Ahn Hyo Seop. Both have captured fans' hearts in the past and will do so again as a powerful duo in Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. 

With their diverse acting skills, we will get to see what these gentlemen bring to the stage as they engage their fans from all parts of the world.

Who better to star in Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint than the acting superstar himself, Lee Min Ho? The actor is set to play the main character Yoo Joong Hyuk in the live-action adaptation of the Webtoon. 

With his iconic roles in The Heirs, The King: Eternal Monarch, and The Legend of the Blue Sea, it is good to see him getting back on screen for this movie. 

We can’t wait to see what he has in store with this character.

Ahn Hyo Seop is a heartthrob that many K-Drama fans will easily recognize. He joins the cast of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint as the main male lead, Kim Dok Ja. 

He recently starred in A Time Called You, A Business Proposal and finished with the famous Dr. Romantic series. 

We’re looking forward to seeing him star on the big screen with Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint.

Chae Soo Bin was the first female to be announced as a cast member of Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. She plays the female lead, Yoo Sangah. 

With her roles in Strongest Deliveryman, Sassy Go Go, and Where Stars Land, it will be exciting to see her strong presence in the movie. 

Nana's role in Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint is the fan-favorite character, Jung Hee Won. She will have to bring out her duality in the movie as the character she will be portraying is different from her past roles. 

She has conveyed her strong skills with former experience in the K-Pop, group Orange Caramel and after starring in Netflix's Mask Girl in 2023.

And finally, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has been confirmed to be part of the cast ofOmniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. She will star as Lee Ji Hye. 

This is exciting news for BLINKS after seeing Jisoo display her spectacular acting skills in Snowdrop. As she works with such an incredible cast, it will be amazing to see what she can do this time around.

With such an amazing cast lineup and a highly-anticipated Webtoon adaptation, fans can't wait for the film's release.
