Things to Do in Garosugil, Seoul

Seoul is such a large city with hidden gems waiting to be discovered around every corner and within the winding back alleys that paint the city. One of those hidden gems is Garosugil. Garosugil is a trendy art and fashion district nestled within Gangnam in Seoul.

Garosugil is located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam, situated within the city of Seoul. To get to Garosugil, you must travel to Sinsa Station, which is on line 3 and opens up at exit 8. Once you leave the station, go straight. It's about a five-minute walk, and you should see the Garosugil Road sign on your left.

While Garosugil Road has amazing things to see and do, make sure you venture off into some side streets and back alleys, as there is even more to discover. 

Garogusil is a place beloved by locals and tourists alike for the wide variety of things to do within its city streets. With tons of art galleries, cafes, shops, and picturesque photo spots, there's something for everyone in Garogusil. 

Garosugil is often known as Fashion Street or Designer Street in Gangnam because of the many popular places to shop for designer and local brands. It is the number 1 spot for fashion in Seoul.  

The Garo Golmok is a shopping mall and cultural complex, all wrapped into one modern design, that mimics the concept of alley markets. The complex often showcases performances and artistic exhibits, alongside the almost 100 small retail stores. Explore its six floors and get lost in the latest artistic and cultural trends. And don't miss out on the rooftop garden, which gives some of the city's best views. 

The Apple Store in Garosugil is the first Apple flagship store in South Korea. If you're an Apple over Android fan, check out this store for all your Apple needs while in South Korea. They even have multilingual staff if you're still brushing up on your Korean.

You'll be able to see the changing fashion cycles and shifting experiences of women's lives as you roam the two floors of the museum. The building the museum is in is even shaped like a handbag.
