How Do I Get To Garosugil?

Garosugil is located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam, situated within the city of Seoul. To get to Garosugil, you must travel to Sinsa Station, which is on line 3 and opens up at exit 8. Once you leave the station, go straight. It's about a five-minute walk, and you should see the Garosugil Road sign on your left.

While Garosugil Road has amazing things to see and do, make sure you venture off into some side streets and back alleys, as there is even more to discover.

The Garo Golmok

The Garo Golmok is a shopping mall and cultural complex, all wrapped into one modern design, that mimics the concept of alley markets. The complex often showcases performances and artistic exhibits, alongside the almost 100 small retail stores. Explore its six floors and get lost in the latest artistic and cultural trends. And don't miss out on the rooftop garden, which gives some of the city's best views. 

The Apple Store

The Apple Store in Garosugil is the first Apple flagship store in South Korea. If you're an Apple over Android fan, check out this store for all your Apple needs while in South Korea. They even have multilingual staff if you're still brushing up on your Korean.

Known as the "first plastic surgery museum in the plastic surgery nation," the museum is situated within a 16-story plastic surgery clinic on the second floor. This is a must-visit if you're interested in learning about the history of nips and tucks. 

Simone Handbag Museum

If you love a good handbag, check out this museum that showcases western handbags that date all the way back to the 1500s. You'll be able to see the changing fashion cycles and shifting experiences of women's lives as you roam the two floors of the museum. The building the museum is in is even shaped like a handbag.
