Seventeen's Record-Breaking Success with 'FML'

In April 2023, the K-pop sensation SEVENTEEN set the music scene ablaze with their electrifying tenth mini-album, 'FML.' The album was like a magnet, drawing in more than 7 million eager listeners on Spotify in no time. Even Billboard said that SVT's record-breaking chart positions and sales statistics for this comeback feel entirely justified from a musical and business viewpoint.

But the boys weren't done making history just yet. They went on to smash the record for the highest first-week sales on the Hanteo Chart, leaving everyone in awe of their explosive popularity.

The cherry on the cake? SEVENTEEN outdid Stray Kids and BTS by having the most pre-ordered K-pop album ever, with a staggering 4.64 million pre-orders.

So this leaves us a question: does SEVENTEEN still have more surprises in store for us?

An Inside Look at Seventeenth Heaven

Several months after said release, it was revealed that SEVENTEEN is poised to make a comeback with their 11th mini-album, "Seventeenth Heaven," set to launch on October 23, 2023 (6:00 p.m. KST). This mini-album will contain 7 songs in total.

The initial announcement of their return was made on September 20 via a promotional video featuring a red wristband with the name of the new mini-album. This sparked a flurry of speculation among their fanbase, CARATS, who started theorizing about a potential worldwide concert tour that could include Mexico, other Latin American countries, and Europe.

Seventeenth Heaven will be showcased in three distinct versions, titled 5:26 AM, 2:14 PM, and 10:23 PM. Each version symbolizes a different phase of a music festival, corresponding to the timeline indicated in its title.

The 5:26 AM version portrays the festival's break of dawn, while the 2:14 PM version captures the peak moments of the celebration. On the other hand, the 10:23 PM version commemorates the end of the festival, complete with fireworks illuminating the night sky.

This arrangement allows the Hallyu community to experience the full spectrum of a concert event.
