The first BTS collab of the year has started off the new year with a bang. Iconic idols Taeyang and Jimin from BTS just released a new single together, “Vibe.” It might’ve been released on Friday the 13th, but trust the vibes were great. This is the first solo release from Jimin since the group announced their group hiatus to focus on solo projects and military service. This collaboration is also special because Jimin has long spoken of his admiration for Taeyang and has even gone as far to call himself a fan during his rookie years.
The song is less fast-paced than one might expect from two k-pop stars. It can be described as a song with a slow to medium, simple beat. However, the simplicity of the beat allows viewers of the music video to focus more on the visual elements.
Speaking of visuals, both Taeyang and Jimin displayed their impressive dance moves in the music video and complimented each other quite well. They also had various outfits: a black leather look with a pop of red, a crisp and white look, and stunning suits.

More About Taeyang
Taeyang debuted in the kpop scene as a part of the group BIGBANG in 2006 under YG entertainment. They are a historic and iconic 2nd generation kpop group. They have hit songs like "Fantastic Baby" and "Bang Bang Bang" that most kpop fans know and love.
He made his solo debut just two years later in 2008. He began releasing his own music and continued to release music as a part of BIGBANG as well. He is currently signed under The Black Label, a subsidiary of YG entertainment.
